CCMS Readiness Vertical Team Workshop

Audience:
Middle school and high school teachers, coaches, and administrators.

Rationale:
College readiness does not start in 11th grade. Much of the assessed standards are in fact 4th - 7th grade TEKS. If you want all educators to learn more about the assessment and small changes that can be made in service of student learning, contact Tracey to learn more.

Designed to empower secondary school teachers in all disciplines, this dynamic 2.5 hour session creates coherence among the many components essential for preparing students for College, Career, and Military Readiness (CCMR).

Included in the workshop:
Correlation to Texas College & Career Readiness Standards, clarity on what is and is not tested, valuable insights into the reading and writing demands of college readiness tests, and simple but high-leverage shifts that will increase literacy for all assessments students face. By understanding these standards, teachers recognize the value of the provided protocols and tools that align with their TEKS.
Furthermore, we'll equip participants with focused, practical protocols for the classroom, ensuring smooth integration of CCMR principles into daily teaching practices. Whether teaching CTE, social studies, science, English, math, or other electives, the tailored approach ensures relevance and applicability across disciplines.
